MedDev Eyelid
Weights are designed for the gravity-assisted treatment of
the functional defects of lagophthalmos resulting from
facial paralysis. MedDev offers gold eyelid implants,
platinum implants and an external weight that is attached to
the eyelid with an adhesive tape.
 Eyelid Implants are designed for the dynamic treatment of the functional and cosmetic defects of
lagophthalmos resulting from facial paralysis, specifically the orbicularis oculi muscle. The paralysis may arise from facial nerve injury, including Bell's palsy, trauma or surgical damage to the facial nerve sometimes occurring in the removal of acoustic neuroma and parotidectomy.

non-surgical treatment of facial paralysis conditions, such as might occur with Bell's palsy. These
External Eyelid Weights are worn on the outside of the upper eyelid and are available in skin tone colors. External
Eyelid Weights offer the general practitioner a new approach to supportive eye care for the treatment of facial paralysis.
The Tantalum Weight Sizing Set is designed to provide accurate eyelid weight determination when selecting either an Eyelid Implant or a skin tone External Eyelid Weight. The Tantalum Weight
Sizing Set reduces the investment for sizing patients with more expensive eyelid implants and permits preoperative sizing.

Adhesive Tape is tan hypoallergenic, double-sided adhesive
