MedDev Corporation manufactures Eyelid Weights used in the
correction of lagophthalmos resulting from facial paralysis.
Lagophthalmos is a condition in which the eyelid can not be
closed completely, leaving the cornea exposed to
damage from exposure and dehydration. MedDev offers two
types of weights: an implantable eyelid weight and a line of
non-implantable skin tone external eyelid weights.
In 1969 MedDev introduced its first resistance exerciser, the Hand Helper® to the hand therapy and rehabilitation market. Today, MedDev is a leading manufacturer of hand exercise equipment. Products include the
Ultimate Hand Helper, the original Hand Helper®, the Finger Helper®, the Thumb Helper® and
the Iso Hand Helper® exercisers. The company also offers the Soft Touch® foam exercisers and the FiddlLink® exerciser for digital dexterity.
MedDev manufactures MultArray® Halogen Medical Lighting Systems designed to produce
excellent-quality lighting while affording ease of use in
general examinations and minor surgical procedures. MultArray lights incorporate a unique, patented array reflector
that is superior in creating evenly distributed, bright, shadow-reduced illumination.
