Job Title: Industrial Engineering Technician MedDev Corporation is seeking an industrial engineering technician with strong practical knowledge and working experience. Duties: You will report to the industrial process engineer and assist with the maintenance of manufacturing documentation including production methods, operation sequences, labor requirements, out-side processing, tooling and material required in the fabrication of gold and platinum medical implants and other external medical devices. You will work under the supervision of the industrial process engineer to prepare cost estimates of labor, material and tooling required for new or existing medical devices. You will assist the industrial engineer to plan work assignments according to worker training and qualification, machine capacity and production schedules. Under close supervision you will assist in the revision of current methods of operation, equipment layout or other changes to increase production efficiency and reduce costs. Utilizing manual dexterity and under supervision you will acquire and utilize techniques and skills necessary to produce precision medical products using pure precious metals and will assist the industrial process engineer as to the manual dexterity and suitability of prospective production workers. Minimum requirements include: Bachelors degree in industrial engineering or related field. You should have at least two years of industrial production experience, (will accept 2 additional years of experience in lieu of degree). Computer skills are necessary. Preference will be given to applicants currently residing in the San Francisco bay area. Salary: $53,350 per year Excellent company benefits are
